This will be my last post regarding the incident
Its not the fact that izzy died. Its the how and why that angers me
Because his death didn't make sense. Because he survived way worse than that, and everyone else did too. Because there is literally no reason why it was necessary for him to die. Because the crew didnt mourn him after the whole season of bonding with him. Because they buried him instead of giving him a proper pirate funeral at sea. Because they should've at least try to save him instead of just standing there and watching him die. Because his death scene wasn't about him but about edward. Because "the crew loves you, ed" they actually don't. Because everything regarding izzy's death feels weird and out of place.
All of it could've been resolved if it wasn't for hbo cutting the numbers of episodes, but then why bother to kill a character that you supposedly care for when you can't give him a proper goodbye?
How did they fuck up THIS BADLY????
God it really is about belonging to something, huh. It is about finding your family, finding your loved ones. It's about carving out a place for yourself in a world that wasn't built for you. It's about loving each other and being loved back, and it's about knowing you deserve all those things.
hmm it's just that I hvnt seen anyone talk abt the "There he is" parallel. and I'm crying over that so...
Ed's white girl "I'm a humble wandered one with nature" to "hot bitch is back nature sucks" transformation was really something else
